Getting a Job
Job center is located at Alta Street, Pillbox Hill. It’s short walk to west from Legion Square, Area where you landed after Character Creation. There is 6 jobs available, Textile worker, Taxi Driver, Delivery Driver, Fisherman, Lumberjack, and Reporter. Some of these jobs require driving license, which you can obtain from Court House with 5000 dollars. Choose preferred work at job center, and new icons are visible at map.
Tutorial for different jobs
As Textile worker, driving license is not required, but recommended. Blue stopwatch should appear on your map to La Mesa/Murrieta Heights, to Darnell Bros building, once you apply at job center. To start work at your workplace, there is multiple circles inside. First, you need to collect materials. Circle for collecting materials is separated from others. When you've collected enough materials, you can start to process those materials into clothes on other circles, next to sewing machines. You can do work as much as you want, only limitation is being your inventory size. Once you are ready to sell your clothes, there is yellow circle outside of building, where you can spawn a van for you. Once you have van, new marker is being put to your GPS, which leads to clothes store at Textile City. When you arrive, there Circle inside, right next to door, where you can sell clothes at. When you sell clothes, you receive payment.
As Taxi Driver, you NEED to have active driving license. Blue stopwatch should appear on your map to East Vinewood/Mirror Park, to taxi depot, once you apply at job center. To start driving taxi, you can spawn cab at taxi depot. When players call taxi by your phone, you will receive dispatch notification left on your screen and new location on your map which is a yellow question mark. During time when there is no players calling in, you can do NPC missions by pressing DELETE. Then drive around, there should be NPC in need of lift, pick him up, and drop him to requested location. You can also drive taxi as "uber", with your own car, but then, you're not able to do NPC missions.
As Delivery Driver, you NEED to have active driving license. Blue stopwatch should appear on your map to Downtown Vinewood, once you apply at job center. To start to Deliveries, you need to go your workplace (blue stopwatch), and step into orange circle, right side of hallway. Press E when i circle and start doing work. You'll get GoPostal Van, and new randomized marker appears on your GPS, Also, location is marked on your map as white stickman. When you arrive to location, press E To Deliver The Package. Once done, you will receive pay for delivery, and new location for delivery. This will repeat it self few times, until you receive notification that van is empty, and you can go to depot and get a new van.
As Fisherman, driving license is not required. Blue stopwatch should appear on your map to San Chianski Mountain Range, West from Senora Freeway, western corner of San Andreas, once you apply at job center. To start fishing, you need to go your workplace (blue stopwatch), go on duty. 3 new different locations will be showed on your map. Salmon, Catfish, and Shark. Salmon and Catfish are legal to fish, but Shark fishing is illegal. You can rent tugboat from same location you go on duty. Once you have boat, you can head to sea and start fishing on these 3 locations. Once you reach fishing spot, you can /anchor your ship, get on deck and start fishing by pressing E. It's recommended to stand on edge, so after fishing animation finishes, you drop your rod to sea, and it wont damage your ship. Every time you finish up fishing, you receive 2 fishes into your inventory. Once your inventory is full, head back to pier where you started sailing, and return your ship there. To sell fish, you have location marked on your map, it's orange/red dollar sign, on Vespucci area, in Los Santos area.
REMEMBER, SHARK FISHING IS ILLEGAL! Fines for fishing sharks are as follows:
$2500 for 20 or less sharks
$5000 for 20-40 sharks
$10000 for 40-80 sharks
$20000 for above 80 sharks
As Lumberjack, you NEED to have active driving license. Blue stopwatch should appear on your map to lumberyard, East of Mt. Chiliad, close to Paleto Bay, once you apply at job center. To start a lumberjacking, you need to go to your workplace (blue stopwatch), go on duty, and rent a hatchet. After that, move behind main building (south-east), and look for pile of planks, there should be blue circle. While you stand on blue circle with hatchet on your hand, you start cutting log by pressing E. When you have 4 logs in your inventory, move back to location where you did go on duty. Look just north west from there, you can see shelter, and behind it, some trailers. There is blue circle, where you start loading logs into trailer by pressing E. Once trailer is loaded with 4 logs on it, you will be spawned into truck, and trailer with logs should be right behind you. Hook trailer to truck by backing to it slowly. Once trailer hooked, you will receive new destination to your GPS, drive there with your truck, and unload trailer to destination. Trailer should disappear at this point. To finish job, you need to drive truck back to lumberyard. Once there, there will be large blue circle near shelter, close to place where you did start. You will receive payment after this. NOTICE: pay can be reduced if you damage truck or trailer!
As Transporter, you NEED to have active driving license. Blue stopwatch should appear on your map to Terminal/Buccaneer Way, South of Los Santos City, once when you apply at job center. To start a transport, you need to go to your workplace (blue stopwatch), and pick which transport you are going to do. Once you have chosen your transport, you will spawn into truck without trailer. Destination where you find trailer to transport will be marked on your map. When you reach destination with your truck, there is blue circle, when you are over that circle, press E to spawn a trailer. Hook trailer to your truck by backing on it slowly. You will get new destination to deliver that trailer. When you arrive to destination, release trailer, and return truck back to Terminal, same location where you started with your truck. You will receive payment after this. NOTICE: Estimated pay can be reduced if you damage truck or trailer!
As Reporter, driving license is not required. This is purely RP job. How job is done, is more up to you as a reporter. You can go and be freelancer reporter, send news on lifeinvader by /tweet [insert news on tweet], and making thread on forums, which are for RP. You can also make organized news station, for example: Weazel News, San Andreas Times, etc. You can make news from local crimes, jobs, police investigations, interviews, and such.
